BETTY F. TOUSSAINT is the founder and Managing Attorney for Toussaint Law, PLLC. Attorney Toussaint earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida and J.D. degree from the University of Florida Fredric Levin College of Law. She has also earned a master’s degree in youth ministry, which has served her clients and their families well. Ms. Toussaint is a passionate litigator. She is a former educator and school administrator and serves as a guardian ad litem in guardianship cases around the Triad in North Carolina. In addition, she serves as one of the Public Administrators and Public Guardian of the Estate for Guilford County. Betty Toussaint is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.

ANTOINETTE “TONI” STONE is an associate attorney at Toussaint Law. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in African-American Studies, Creative Writing, and Law, she interned at a law firm in New York, NY. Continuing with her career goals, Toni attended and graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, NC in 2023. During law school, Toni interned with the Wilson Center for Science and Justice at Duke University School of Law, served as a Research Assistant, and a Legal Intern at the North Carolina Central University School of Law Family Law Clinic. Toni believes deeply in the law and justice and will always strive to do what is in the best interest of the clients

NERISSA H. POWELL joined Toussaint Law, PLLC in December 2021. She is a dynamic client relations executive who focuses on developing and building long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided by Toussaint Law, PLLC. She is a graduate of American Intercontinental University, where she majored in Business Administration.

ALEXANDRA C. TRUITT joined Toussaint Law in June 2025. She grew up in High Point, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Arts. While at UNCG she studied Political Science with a Pre-Law Concentration. Her goal is going to law school in August 2026. Alexandra has a German Shepard who is two years old with a sense of humor and an amazing personality.
